Love the show. Thank you! You made me tear up talking about the sanctity of motherhood. It’s summertime and I am home with 6 kids. Each days is full of love, and messes and exhaustion. But you are right, it’s been the laying down of my own little daily desires that has created a magnificent life. We are truly blessed beyond belief. We never intended to have 6 kids. We just lived the ego-drama long enough and saw its results that we, thankfully, felt a tug to lean into the Theo-drama as Bishop Barron says. Wow!!! What a LIFE!! I tell everyone God can dream a bigger dream for our life that you ever could. It’s been true for us as a married couple and I pray our kids find the same fulfillment, whichever path God has ready, (God willing they stay on that path;) Love, love, love, your shows. Keep up the good work. You’re the intellectual highlight of my day:) High Five from Kansas City!
PS I got to meet Bishop Barron when he visited recently. My husband and I left the dinner after meeting him and driving home I was in aweof how much God takes care of us. After devoting Lent to his videos – I was kinda a Bishop Barron groupie. Like you said today I tell everyone to refer back to his videos. I have many friends through work and an online community that are very secular/atheist in their thought process.. The Spaghetti Monster God that Bishop Barron talks about with atheist is real to them and he is quoting verbatim language I tried to argue against. I was so appreciative to find that he knew their world as I did and knew how to make progress in that arena as I had been trying to do. Anyway, getting to meet him is something I will always cherish and I just love that he’s teaching me to bring more souls to God with his insights.
